CAL Hockey Registration & Fees Updates

Registration Update for the 2021-22 Church Athletic League Season – Online Registration now available

The CAL is currently preparing for a “Return to Normal” programming model for the 2021-22 hockey season. With that model in mind, registration fees for the upcoming season have been posted below for each of our house league hockey divisions.

This page will be updated regularlyas we receive additional program updates from both the OHF and the OMHA.

It is important to register your player(s) as early as possible. Registration is expected open in early July. Registering early will not only increase the likelihood that you can secure a spot for your player for the coming season, but it will also allow us to secure the needed ice time to run our hockey programs.  Please note:

  • We are currently accepting registrations for house league hockey and pre-seaon skills sessions only. These programs require 2 seperate registrations. We still hope to run our highly popular CAL Panthers Player Development/Select program this season, but we must await further direction from our governing bodies before we are able to start taking registrations for these offerings.
  • Should representative hockey tryouts be held in September this year, we understand that some CAL players may be interested in participating. If you would like to protect a spot for your player on their CAL team in the event they are not selected for a representative team, we strongly encourage you to pre-register your player with us prior to August 31, 2021.  If their tryout is successful, we can easily cancel their CAL pre-registration at that time.

The fees currently posted are based a return to normal scenario. In the event there are similar restrictions to this past season, we will revert back to a COVID Fee Schedule.  We are continuing to offer substantial fee reductions for goalies at the U9, U11 and U13 levels and, new this season, we are also offering goalie discounts at the U15 and U18 levels.

The CAL will be providing a registration credit (amount TBD) for returning players who participated in divisions U8 and above last season.  This credit is the result of the 2020-21 season ending a few weeks prematurely due to the Ontario government’s stay-at-home order issued in early April.  If a credit applies to you, it will be visible in the registration portal when you register your player for this coming season and will result in a reduced registration fee.  The fees listed below are before the application of any registration credits.

We will continue to post updates to the website as we get closer to the beginning of the season and things start to become clearer.  If you have any questions in the meantime, please contact us by email at CAL Office and someone will get back to you as soon as possible.  Access to the Kingston Memorial Centre is still currently restricted, and the CAL office is tentatively planning to reopen on Monday, August 16th.

The online registration has been revamped by Hockey Canada. It has a new look and you will be required to set up/create a new account. It’s quick and easy and you will be able to add all your family members with one simple account.

2021-22 Registration Form  Open & Print

While online registration is the preferred option, we understand that it may not work for everyone.  If you are registering a player who played in a different organization last year, please contact us by email at CAL Office before attempting online registration and we will assist you with the process.  For players who are not able to register online for any other reason, you will need to download and print our Mail-In Registration Form, fill it out completely, and mail it to us at the address on the form.  Access to the CAL office remains “Restricted” so paper registrations cannot be dropped off in person until we reopen.  Please understand there will be a delay in processing mailed registrations.
