Hockey Programming Update 22 Jan 2021 With the Province of Ontario’s 28-day stay-at-home order taking effect on January 14, followed by the extension of emergency orders under the Reopening Ontario Act (ROA) for an additional 30 days, the CAL is required to extend our mid-season pause. Even so, we remain optimistic that our hockey programs will return. We have been informed by the Ontario Hockey Federation and the OMHA that this current season may be extended until May 31, 2021. January Scheduling - Under Review

With the Province of Ontario initiating a "Grey-Lockdown" status thru January 22nd, our current progamming is suspended. All of the Minor Hockey Associations in Kingston are affected by this shutdown. While we are optomistic that hockey programming may be able to return on or around January 23rd, we will provide those updates as they become available. Until then, our team schedules for the month of January will not be posted until we recieve additional guidance from KFL&A Public Health and the City of Kingston with regards to a resumption of play. Hockey Program Updates U-7 (IP) to U-9 (Novice)

Our hockey programming for the U-7 & U-8 age groups begins on Saturday October 3rd, and U-9 begins on Sunday October 4th. Our U-7 teams will have one ice time per week and we are able to provide a consistant schedule for the month of October. Our U-8 teams will begin on Saturday morning October 3rd and will have a weekninght practice each week beginning the week of Oct. 5th. Our U-9 teams will begin on Sunday October 4th, they to will have a weeknight practice beginning the week of October 5th.
