CAL Refund Policy
Refunds will be granted to the earlier of:
- The date that a written request for a refund is received by the League.
- The date that a player’s injury or medical condition prohibits a player from player (medical documentation is required).
In order to be considered for a refund, you are required to complete the Refund Request Form below. Any request arising as a result of an injury that prohibits a player from playing must be submitted within 30 days of the date of the injury along with the appropriate Medical Documentation, otherwise the request may be denied.
Refunds will not be granted if the player is currently under suspension and/or if the player is awaiting disciplinary action by the CAL Discipline Committee or by the OMHA.
House League Registration Refunds will be granted based on the timetable below:
Date Refund Request Received
Up to September 20th 100% of Registration Fee Paid Less an Administrative Fee
Up to October 31st 75% of Registration Fee Paid Less an Administrative Fee
Up to November 30th 50% of Registration Fee Paid Less an Administrative Fee
After November 30th No Refund Except for Season Ending Medical Circumstances Supporting medical documentation from a Physician must be provided for the refund request to be considered.
January 1st No Refunds
Other Hockey Program Registration Refunds may be granted in the event of an injury which prevents the player from participating in the program. The Program Refund Request Form must be submitted to the CAL Office to be considered. An Administrative Fee will be applied to all requests.
Note: Specialty Clinics – The CAL may offer Specialty Clinics during the course of a season. SpecialtyClinics Fees are set around a low student/instructor ratio, and as such, once registered, no refunds will be considered.
